Division
10 Lt Governor, Jan Robertson,
made her official Board visit and gave a presentation of the statistics
of where the Rose Float Club stands in relation to the other clubs
in Division 10. It is difficult for the Rose Float Club to be
distinguished because our purpose is different from the usual
Kiwanis Clubs. For example, the Rose Float Club coordinates and
feeds 8000 SLP's to help with the Rose Float decorating every
December but the club does not get credit towards being "Distinguished"
because we don't actually sponsor an SLP club. The Secretary was
asked to contact KI to see if the club could get credit for this
different type of SLP involvement. All "Distinguished Club"
criteria will be analyzed to see if the club can meet the criteria
in other ways.
