of previous board meeting were not available. Approval carried
over to next board meeting
Treasurer's
Report:
Club Checking: $11,210.90
Foundation Checking: $4,648.95
Craig
Wallace reported that he will make a payment of $5,000 for 2008
float. Another $2,000 has been paid but not processed by district.
With the $35,000 previously paid, we are now at $42,000 leaving
$8,000 to be raised for the float.
Dave
Wallach made a request for reimbursement of $ 100 for propane
used by food wagon. MMS (Madick) Passed.
Lydia
Soriano is working on promotion program which will be presented
at next board meeting.
Status
of Division 2006-07 directory was reviewed. More follow up will
be needed; in the meantime Craig Wallace will solicit for business
card ads. He received 8 business cards from members present fulfilling
clubs quota for ads.
KI
Foundation is attempting to raise $37 million of which $1.5 million
would be designated for Rose Float. This will be a 5 year program.
President Reid encouraged everyone to get behind the program.
MMS
(Bowers) to contribute to KI Foundation $ 300.00 to Annual Club
Giving.
Lt.
Governor Bob Pierre discussed the CNH Governor's official Visit
to Division 10 on March 15 at Almansor Court. More information
to be forthcoming.
Dave
Wallach discussed status of Grand Drawing. Still have 90 tickets
that need to be sold. Only major fund raising we are doing this
year. Our ability to fund float depends on selling 100% of tickets.
